School Based Assessment of Bullying On-Line

A fast and effective way to assess the extent and nature of bullying in your schools is to conduct an on-line student survey enabling interventions to be developed and tailored to the school, thereby meeting policy and practice procedures for the collection and reporting of school bullying data to the school community and broader education systems. The advantages of this computerirsed assessment of school bullying include the ease of administration and the ready availability of data analysis for report writing.

Procedure

• The school contacts Professor Philip Slee, phillip.slee@flinders.edu.au
• The school is assigned a code number for privacy reasons & to access the questionairre
• The school's questionairre is typically completed online in class or th eschool computer room (approx. 30-35 minutes to complete)
• On request by the school to Professor Philip Slee, a report may be written and sent to the school contact person
